Employment Webinar: Help … am I still up-to-date with the current trends in labour law?

10/12/2020 13:00 10/12/2020 14:30 (Europe/Brussels)

The end of the year is a time for looking back and looking ahead.

We will certainly all remember 2020 as a year dominated by Covid-19, but there have also been other important developments in the field of labour and social security law that are having an impact on your day-to-day HR practice.

During this webinar, we will guide you through the highlights of 2020 and give you a sneak peak into what is in the ‘pipeline’ for 2021 so that you start 2021 well prepared and fully informed.

ALTIUS’ employment lawyers, Philippe De Wulf, Ruth Maes and Annabel Coopman, will set out the legal framework and will share their practical experience with you to bring you fully ‘up to speed’.

They will guide you through new developments in areas including:

  •         termination of employment

  •         time registration

  •         discrimination

  •         posting of workers

  •         the transfer of an undertaking

  •         social security

  •         data protection

and they will give you an overview of the social measures included in the new federal government’s coalition agreement.

Thursday, 10 December 2020, from 1 pm until 2.30 pm.

As the lockdown will still be in force, unfortunately we will not have the chance to meet in person, and so we replace lunch debates by webinars.

The link to join the webinar will be sent a few days in advance to the registered participants.

This webinar is free-of-charge and will be held in Dutch and French.
